We have managed to develop an excellent reputation and are therefore looking forward to the coming years with positive expectations.’

Due to the continuing corona restrictions in Thailand, there are currently no plans for anniversary celebrations with customers and employees. However, Van Leeuwen Thailand has made a donation to the Bangkok Community Help Foundation. Thijs: ‘We have always maintained very enjoyable contacts with the local community. This donation is meant to show that we very much appreciate this.’

Excellent reputation

‘We are able to fall back on one another’s stocks and knowledge within our international network.’

Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube Group

The close relationship we developed over the years with local producers, as well as international EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) contractors, largely contributed to this success. ‘Of course we also have access to our international network,’ the General Manager emphasizes. ‘This enables us to fall back on one another’s stocks and knowledge when necessary. We often cooperate at an international level on large projects. For example, in 2019, we created a team together with Van Leeuwen Singapore colleagues for a project for PTT LNG, part of Thailand’s national oil company. We supplied pipes for the construction of a new LNG terminal in Nongfab, in the province of Rayong’.

Over the past few decades, this branch has grown into a leading PFF supplier for the oil and gas industry in Thailand.
