“By sharing knowledge across markets and staying close to our customers, we can prepare for the changes in the automotive industry together.”

Both the annual meeting and the visit to IAA Transportation provided valuable input for the road ahead. By sharing knowledge across markets, staying close to our customers and continuing to explore new technologies and more sustainable solutions, we can prepare for the developments taking place in the automotive industry – together.

Following the annual meeting, the team visited IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover. It was a good opportunity to meet customers and partners and exchange views on the developments and challenges we see in the market. Under this year’s theme, “WE DELIVER”, the exhibition brought together companies and professionals from across the commercial vehicle, transport and logistics industries.

During the meeting, colleagues from across Van Leeuwen came together to discuss current market developments and look at the trends shaping the automotive industry in order to offer the best customer solutions. An important part of the discussions focused on tube applications and new technologies, as well as CO₂-reduced products and the role they can play in the future. With sustainability becoming more and more important throughout the automotive supply chain, the team also discussed how we can further develop our offering and support customers in their transition towards a lower-carbon future.

With the fast changing automotive industry, taking a step back sometimes helps to move forward with a clearer direction. This was also the focus of this year’s annual meeting of the Van Leeuwen Global Automotive Team.

The Customer Connection

More than tubes

Our services do not end at supplying the right products. With our global warehouse locations we ensure that the required tubes and components are available exactly when our customers need them. This way we reduce lead times, eliminate sourcing risks and keep our customers projects on schedule.
